Chris Waha Pitches in All-Star Game

Chris Waha, a Charlevoix high school senior and grandson of MariAn and Ray Huhn of St. Ignace, was the starting catcher for West All-Stars during the 26th annual Michigan All-Star Baseball Classic at the Detroit Tigers' Comerica Park in Detroit Monday, June 18.

Mr. Waha, 18, the son of Wendy Huhn of Palm Springs, Florida, and Doug Waha of Charlevoix, also pitched two innings, although his team lost.

In the fall he will be attending and playing baseball and football at Grand Rapids Community College.
