MNA Volunteer Day, Field Trip

The Michigan Nature Association (MNA) will host a free field trip and volunteer day at the Fred Dye Nature Sanctuary in Mackinac County. The field trip will be Saturday, July 14, at 1 p.m., and the Volunteer Day will be Tuesday, July 24, at 4 p.m.

MNAsteward George Ford will lead guests through a portion of the 39.5-acre sanctuary July 14.

Volunteers are needed July 24 to help remove conifers invading the small prairie area. Volunteers will receive food and drinks.

The Fred Dye Nature Sanctuary is located about 8.5 miles northwest of Moran. A new sign is on the southwest side of M-123.
