Diehl Returns to City Police

St. Ignace City Police Officer Ryan Diehl returned to the department after a one-year hiatus, having participated in a United Nations police training program in Kosovo.

With his return, Officer Bruce Bigger plans to retire from the department in August.

Officer Diehl returned to work Thursday, June 21.

The department staff includes officers Diehl and Bigger, Police Chief Tim Matelski, and officers Mark Wilk, Tom Tarnutzer, and Allan Mitchell. Lori Strich is the department secretary and Nick Pavloski is the meter officer.
