July 20 Hamburger Bash in Pickford Is Museum Fundraiser

A hamburger bash to raise money for the Pickford Historical Museum will be Friday, July 20, from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Pickford Township Hall on Main Street in Pickford.

Admission will be by donation. Salads and desserts are needed, and anyone who wants to help with the dinner or make a side dish should call Pickford Historical Society President Stan Schmitigal at (906) 647-8851.

Proceeds will help pay for expenses and events at the Pickford community's historical museum, which has been open more than a year. The museum is open Monday through Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., and is staffed by volunteers.
