Mamie Antilla

Mamie G. Antilla of Roseville, formerly of Ozark, worked 35 years for the United States Immigration and Naturalization Service in Detroit. She had been living in Roseville since her retirement in 1980.

Ms. Antilla died at the age of 88 Tuesday, July 24, 2007, at St. John Hospital in Detroit.

She was born in Ozark October 23, 1918, to Frank and Millie (nee Hill) Antilla.

She was a life member of Zion Lutheran Church in Allenville.

Ms. Antilla is survived by several cousins, including the Pechta family of Moran and St. Ignace.

She was preceded in death by her brothers, Aurie and Louis Antilla.

Services will be Saturday, August 4, at 2 p.m. at Zion Lutheran Church in Allenville. Pastor George Kaiser will officiate. Friends may call at the church from noon until the time of the service.

Burial will be in Allenville Cemetery in Brevort Township, in the Antilla Lot.

Dodson Funeral Home of St. Ignace assisted the family with arrangements.
