July Bridge Traffic Decreases Slightly

Traffic crossing the Mackinac Bridge dipped 0.2% for the month of July, with 577,884 vehicles crossing, while 579,192 crossed during July 2006, reported Robert Sweeney, executive secretary of the Mackinac Bridge Authority.

Traffic for 2007 is 3.5% behind last year's pace, with 2,183,356 vehicles this year, versus 2,261,908 in 2006.
