Robert Van Camp Robert Van Camp, 75, of Newberry, died at Helen Newberry Joy Hospital Thursday, August 23, 2007. Born in Trout Lake March 8, 1932, Mr. Van Camp was a son of Roland B. and Grace (nee Hart) Van Camp. He was a U.S. Army veteran serving during the Korean Conflict. He returned to the area following his service and became employed as a truck driver in the timber industry until his retirement. Mr. Van Camp married Nancy Mattson in Newberry July 24, 1956. He enjoyed fishing and auto mechanics. He is survived by his siblings and their families, Doreen and Paul Kleeman of Engadine, Sandra and Lloyd Boursaw of Ranier, Oregon, Roland Van Camp of Traverse City, and Theodore and Bonnie Van Camp of Newberry. He was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy; his parents; his son, Robert Van Camp; and a brother, David Van Camp. Services have been accorded and a burial will be at Forest Home Cemetery Saturday, September 15, at 1 p.m. with Jack Van Horn officiating. Beaulieu Funeral Home is assisting the family. |
