Can you believe it's September already, and the kids are back to school? Where did the summer go? That's a question many of us ask this time of year. We really enjoyed the summer with our son. Even though kids are back in school, the fun can continue by making sure dinner time is special, and that it's spent at the table together as a family. It may be hard, sometimes, with work schedules, but not too hard every day. Interact with your children. Be interested in where they are, and what they're doing. Family time is very important as a child grows up. This can help them make responsible decisions. Don't talk negatively about others. Listen to what your child has to say, and offer positive advice. Encourage your child to be friends with other kids, not just a select few. When they grow up, this will teach them to get along and understand others. Remember, no one likes to be left out, laughed at, or talked about, especially a child.
