Mackinac Island Race Set for Saturday

The 37th Annual Mackinac Island Eight Mile Road Race is set for Saturday, September 8, at Mission Point Resort. The run begins at 9:30 a.m. and walkers will follow.

Late registration will be held at Mission Point Resort Friday, September 7, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. and on race day from 7:30 a.m. to 9:15 a.m. Participants also can register online at www.gaultracemanagement.com.

A pasta dinner will be held Friday, September 7, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the resort.

Ferry lines are offering discounted tickets for Saturday morning through the 8 a.m. boat.
