Repairs to Church Changes Services

Renovation is ongoing at St. Ignatius Loyola Catholic Church in St. Ignace, necessitating a change in church service schedules, said Deacon Tom Mc- Clelland Monday, September 3. Beginning Saturday, September 8, Catholic services will be held at the United Methodist Church until further notice. Service times are 5 p.m. Saturday and 8:30 a.m. Sunday.

The Sacrament of Reconciliation will take place on Saturdays at 10 a.m. at the Catholic Center next to St. Ignatius Church.

At Immaculate Conception Church in Moran, Mass will now take place at 11 a.m. on Sundays.

Work is ongoing on the steeple and vestibule roof at St. Ignatius, and work is beginning inside on the stairways and in the sanctuary, Deacon McClelland said.
