Accident Claims Life of Engadine Man

An Engadine man was killed in a farming accident when he was pinned between a tractor and a trailer near Engadine Saturday, September 8.

Following the accident, Ronald Fenske, 70, was transported to Helen Newberry Joy Hospital in Newberry, where he was pronounced dead.

The accident remains under investigation, reported the Mackinac County Sheriff's Department, and drugs, alcohol, or foul play are not believed to be factors in the accident.

Mr. Fenske leaves his wife and two children and their families. An obituary is printed in this issue.
