The weekend offered much nicer weather than predicted. Traveling to the mid-peninsula area, I chanced upon two former Rexton residents, and stopped to say hello to Nancy Kerridge Godfrey and Jan Derusha Clark.

Visiting faces in church Sunday were George and Irene Gage of Engadine and Irene's brother, David Kindy, and his wife.

Congratulations to the Junior Varsity Eagles football team players; they continue to be in the "win" column.

The bear hunters are in the area in full force, as they continue to travel up and down the back roads of our tiny towns.
