St. Ignace Show Draws 116 Big Rigs
This year's annual Richard Crane Memorial Truck Show in St. Ignace was the best show yet in its 12 years running, said event coordinator Ed Reavie of Nostalgia Productions, with 116 vehicles registered for the show. Last year, there were 92. "It continues to amaze me how many of these truckers love coming to this event, especially when you consider the time and cost to come here," Mr. Reavie said. Fifty trucks were parked through the downtown area, while the rest were set up at the parking lot of Little Bear East Arena and Community Center. Award results will be published next week. | | Bill Morgan of Willis with his 1999 Kentworth truck, "Wild West." "This is a great truck show," said Mr. Morgan. "I like how all these custom trucks are here together, and the ideas you can get from them and the people you meet, it really makes it a nice event." Mr. Willis has been to almost every truck show in St. Ignace. |
