Fisher To Head Bank Lending Dept.

John Fisher III

John W. Fisher III is executive vice president and chief lending officer at First National Bank of St. Ignace, a new position that will give him direct oversight for all of the bank's lending activities and business development.

Mr. Fisher joined the former National Bank of Detroit in 1968 and most recently served as the president and director of a community bank in northern lower Michigan.

He earned a bachelor's degree from Ohio State University, an MBA from Bowling Green State University, and a master's in banking from the University of Wisconsin at Madison.

"He brings a wealth of experience and talent to our organization," said President and CEO James North, "and he understands the business climate in northern Michigan."

Mr. Fisher began his employment with the bank August 21.
