• Benjamin Starcher, 27, of Barberton, Ohio, pleaded guilty to attempted resisting and obstructing a police officer, and was assessed a fine of $750. (Michigan State Police)

• Michael Plank, 30, of Hessel, pleaded guilty to failure to report an accident, and was assessed a fine of $100. (Michigan State Police)

• John Rickley, 26, of St. Ignace, pleaded guilty to non-sufficient funds check less than $50, and was assessed a fine of $500 and must pay $387.72 in restitution. (Michigan State Police)

• Broderick Wiser, 18, of Cedarville, waived his preliminary examination and was bound over to Circuit Court on one count assaulting/resisting/obstructing a police officer, and one count minor in possession. (Mackinac County Sheriff)

• David Stokka, 33, of St. Ignace, pleaded guilty to third degree retail fraud, and was assessed a fine of $250. (Mackinac Island Police)

• Timothy Heard, 40, of Howell, pleaded guilty to building a fire during extreme fire conditions, and was assessed a fine of $500. (Mackinac County Sheriff)
