Winners Announced of Horse and Livestock Competitions at Stalwart Fair The 2007 Stalwart Fair livestock show attracted approximately 40 youth entries in its second year, and organizers were pleased with the participation and audiences at each show Friday, September 7, and Saturday, September 8. A new feature at Stalwart Fairgrounds this year was a bounce house, which drew a large crowd of children and raised $247 for the Noah's Ark 4-H Club of Pickford. The bounce house was donated by the Barbeau Lions Club, which donated proceeds to the Noah's Ark club. Costume Contest Winner: Paul Bartholomew 2nd - Kia Michalski, Goetzville Tiffany McCord of Pickford earned 1st Place in Senior Showmanship Age 15 to 19, the Overall Showmanship and Sportsmanship awards, and Grand Champion Registered Rabbit. Alyssa McCord of Pickford won 1st Place in Junior Showmanship Age 9 to 11, and Reserve Champion Regular Rabbit. Stacy Colosky of Pickford won 1st Place in Intermediate Showmanship Age 12 to 14, and Grand Champion Grade Rabbit.
Kia Michalski of Goetzville won Reserve Grade Rabbit, and Lance Cryderman won the Best Rabbit Costume contest. Hannah Burton of Sault Ste. Marie won 1st Place in Senior Showmanship, Grand Champion Ewe, and the Overall Showmanship Trophy. Aubrie Cottle of Pickford won the Sportsmanship Trophy. Abbie Galloway of Pickford won Reserve Champion Ewe. David Scales of Barbeau won Grand Champion Ram.
