Les Cheneaux Library To Offer Computer Classes in Cedarville

Les Cheneaux Community Library will offer beginning computer classes Wednesday, October 3.

Les Cheneaux Library Branch Manager Ronda McGreevy will teach the classes, which will be offered over four consecutive weeks. Each class will cost $10, and participants can sign up for one, a few, or all four. Interested people should register in advance at the library or by calling (906) 484-3547.

The classes will meet from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.

The first class, called "Point and Click: Getting Started on the Personal Computer," will be October 3. Word processing will be offered October 10. Beginning Internet usage, including searching on the World Wide Web, will be offered October 17. Adesktop publishing class using Publisher program basic functions will be October 24.

Mrs. McGreevy will repeat the classes January 9, January 16, January 23, and January 30, 2008. Registration for the January classes will take place at a later date.
