Cody Marcoux Finishes Navy Basic Training

Navy Seaman Recruit Cody G. Marcoux, son of Marcia A. Herzberg-Dickey of DeTour Village, and Cecil Dickey of DeTour Village, recently completed U.S. Navy basic training at Recruit Training Command in Great Lakes, Illinois. Mr. Marcoux is a 2007 graduate of DeTour High School.

During the eight-week program, Mr. Marcoux completed training that included classroom study and practical instruction on naval customs, first aid, firefighting, water safety and survival, and shipboard and aircraft safety. An emphasis was placed on physical fitness.
