DeWitt To Speak on Rudyard History

Ed DeWitt will be the featured speaker at the Rudyard Historical Society meeting Thursday, October 11, at 7 p.m. at the Rudyard Community Center at 18725 South Mackinac Trail.

A native of Rudyard, Mr. DeWitt will tell about the history of the DeWitt family and share stories from his life experiences. The evening will include a bake sale and refreshments. This meeting is open to the public.

Mr. DeWitt is a trustee on the Kinross Charter Township board. He has also served as a trustee of the Rudyard Township board. He has been a pilot and a dairy farmer, and a co-owner of Midwest Air. He has been active in the Chippewa County Farm Bureau for many years.
