Saints JV Football Update

St. Ignace junior varsity football team is 2-5 on the season with two games remaining on the schedule.

Saints vs. Sault High: The Saints defeated the Blue Devils Thursday, October 4, but no statistics were available.

Saints 22, Rudyard 6: Austin St. Louis, 14 carries for 133 yards, two touchdowns and one twopoint conversion; Caleb Litzner, 20 carries for 119 yards; Ronnie France, nine carries for 33 yard, one touchdown and one two-point conversion; Gunnar Zipp, 17 tackles, Austin St. Louis, eight tackles, John Evashevski and Ronnie France, 10 tackles.

Rogers City 33, Saints 14: Ronnie France, kickoff return for 84 yard touchdown, four carries for 16 yards, two receptions for 30 yards, one two-point conversion; Austin St. Louis, 18 carries for 93 yards; Caleb Litzner, 18 carries for 65 yards, one touchdown; John Evashevki and Austin St. Louis, 17 tackles; Gunnar Zipp, 13 tackles; Cole Christiansen, four tackles, one interception.

Cheboygan 20, Saints 0: The game was called owing to lightning with 9:03 left in the second quarter. No statistics were available.
