Trojans, Eagles Record Volleyball Wins

The Cedarville Trojans varsity volleyball team improved to 3-2 in the Eastern Upper Peninsula Conference and 9-11-4 overall with a sweep of the Pickford Panthers Thursday, October 4.

Trojans stats: Ashley Sweeney, nine aces, two kills; Caitlin Wright, four kills, one ace, two block kills; Billie McLeod, 13 kills, one block kill; Hope Derren, eight kills, one block kill; Carissa Sudol, 25 assists, one ace.

Cedarville will travel to DeTour Thursday, October 11, to face the Raiders.

Eagles 5-0 in EUPC

Engadine's varsity volleyball team remains perfect in the Eastern Upper Peninsula Conference with a 5-0 record and is 13-5-4 overall after defeating Brimley in league play Thursday, October 4, and Newberry in a non-conference match Monday, October 1.

Eagles vs. Brimley: The Eagles lost the first match 19-25 before defeating the Bays 26-24, 25-19, and 25-23.
