Cedarville King and Queen Candidates

Cedarville High School's Homecoming football game is Friday, October 12, when Cedarville will play Pickford at the school's athletic field in Cedarville. Cedarville High School's football team will take on Pickford Friday, October 12, in Cedarville's homecoming game.

Whitefish sandwiches will be sold by the Trojans Booster Club during the homecoming game. The sandwiches will be sold along with regular game time food in the concession stand. Sandwiches will be available at 6 p.m. Proceeds will help support the Cedarville Athletic Program.

Homecoming night tail-gating will begin at 5 p.m., at parking areas around the athletic field in Cedarville. Free popcorn, donated by UP State Credit Union, will be available to the first 100 customers at the concession stand.

Cedarville will play Pickford in the game beginning at 7 p.m., rounding out Spirit Week at Les Cheneaux Community Schools. The week has included dress-up days and activities like Gender Bender Day and Powder Puff football Wednesday, October 10, Hillbilly Day and homecoming speeches Thursday, October 11, and Super Trojans Fan Day and a pep rally Friday, October 12.

Noisemakers will also be donated by UP State Credit Union to pep rally participants and football game fans. Bob and Sharon Smith of Cedarville donated bead necklaces on a first-come, first-served basis to football game spectators.

Homecoming royalty will be crowned at halftime of the game. Candidates include juniors Casey Hakola, Jordan Huff, James Mitchell, Luke Murray, Kacie Simpson, and Ashley Sweeney. Senior candidates include Katie Bowlby, Megan Hill, Raechel Landreville, Ryan Pollard, Sheldon Tassier, and Kevin Thompson.
