For the Record... In the September 27 issue of The St. Ignace News, a page 1 story about Clark Township Planning Commission incorrectly reported that Rick Reichlin bought the home next to the former Hudson Hardware in Cedarville. He is renting the home. To clarify the October 4 page 1 story about the Inland Consent Decree, the agreement is to be made among the state and federal government and the five Native American tribes occupying the lands ceded to Michigan through the 1836 Treaty of Washington (the eastern half of the Upper Peninsula and the northern third of the Lower Peninsula). There are 11 federally recognized tribes in Michigan. |
