Wanda Paquin Elected St. Ignace Visitors Bureau President

Wanda Paquin was elected president of the St. Ignace Visitors Bureau board of directors Tuesday, October 9, replacing David Swope, who served two years as president.

Ms. Paquin represents the Kewadin Lakefront Inn and served on the board as vice president before being elected president.

Mr. Swope, of Budget Host Inn and Suites, Howard Cole, of Days Inn Lakefront and Best Value Inn, and Tim Harrington, of Best Western Habour Pointe, retained their board seats.

Jim DeKeyser, of Super 8 Motel, was elected vice president, while Mr. Cole was reelected treasurer. Chris Shepler of Shepler's Mackinac Island Ferry was elected as the board's secretary, replacing Arnold Transit Company's Jay Tremble, who remains a member of the board.
