Joseph 'Joe'Willobee

Joseph V. "Joe" Willobee, 41, of McMillan, died as a result of a motorcycle accident Saturday, October 6, 2007, near Newberry.

He was born in Alpena January 12, 1966, to Donald and Mary Lou (nee Van Sickle) Willobee. He attended Rudyard schools and was first employed with his father in the logging industry. His latest employment of more than five years was with the LP Corporation, based in Newberry.

He enjoyed spending time with his sons.

Mr. Willobee is survived by his sons, Zachary and Aaron, and their mother, Crystal Willobee, all of Trout Lake; his parents, Donald and Joyce Willobee of Rudyard; his paternal grandparents, Vernon and Bessie Willobee of Fairview; and five siblings and their families, Lynne of Florida, Karen of Lansing, and Stephanie and Kirk Roberts of Ethiopia, Steve and Jodi of Grand Ledge, and Mark and Holly of Chicago. He also leaves two stepbrothers, one stepsister, and his girlfriend, Stacy Hoig of McMillan.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, his mother, and infant twin daughters.

Memorial services were at Strongs Community Bible Church in Strongs Friday, October 12, with the Reverend Gary Van Sickle officiating.

Beaulieu Funeral Home in Newberry is assisting the family.
