Amanda Mellon and Liam O'Neill of Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, were united in marriage Sunday, September 23, 2007, at 11 a.m. with the Reverend William Crowe officiating. The ceremony took place at Tahquamenon Falls State Park in Paradise.
The bride's gown had a beaded bodice and a taffeta skirt with a short train. She wore her sister's tiara and veil. She carried a handtied bouquet of gardenias, heiress roses, and freesia.
Witnesses were Alisa Sackett, sister of the bride, and Breck O'Neill, father of the groom.
Awedding party was held at the Sunset Resort in Grand Marais.
The bride is the daughter of Kay Mellon of St. Ignace and Ken Mellon of Flint. She was graduated from Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff, Arizona, and is employed as a river guide for Row Adventures in Coeur d'Alene.
The groom is the son of Breck O'Neill of Miami, Florida, and Brian and Susan Melka of Harrison, Idaho. He attended Prescott College in Prescott, Arizona, and is employed as a white water river guide for Row Adventures.
