News Collects for Toys for Tots

During a yard sale at her home, Joan Johnson (right) of St. Ignace collected $82 in a coffee can for the local Toys for Tots program, and stopped by The St. Ignace News office Wednesday, October 24, where her donation was accepted by circulation manager Wendy Colegrove. Collection canisters for the children's Christmas toy charity are now in place at all St. Ignace gas stations, the Pines Trading Post, and Cedar Pantry in Cedarville, Mrs. Colegrove said, and more canisters and donation boxes will be set up at local businesses in the coming weeks.
