Police Investigate Grave Site Larceny

The Chippewa County Sheriff's Department is seeking information about a larceny from a grave site at the Mission Hill Cemetery in Bay Mills.

The theft occurred between Saturday, October 20, and Monday, October 22. An arrowhead was stolen that had been specially made and placed at a grave. The arrowhead is approximately six inches long and three inches wide. There were several other reported thefts from grave sites at Mission Hill this summer.

Anyone with information may call Crime Stoppers at (800) 465- 7867. Callers may remain anonymous and tips leading to an arrest could earn a $1,000 reward.
