Shore-to-Shore Chapter Hosts Castle Rock Hike

The Hiawatha Shore-to-Shore (HSS) Chapter of the North Country Trail Association will sponsor a hike Saturday, November 10, at 10 a.m. at St. Ignace. Participants will meet at the Castle Rock parking lot. The chapter will provide leaders for hikes of varying lengths and vehicle spotting, if needed.

Participants are asked to dress for the weather, including some low, wet areas of the trail, and bring snacks and water.

Hikers and families of all ages and skills are welcome to attend monthly hikes planned by the chapter. Hikes around the Eastern Upper Peninsula are held every second Saturday of the month. These day hikes are designed to get outdoor enthusiasts and families together for recreation and fellowship on the North Country National Scenic Trail.

The chapter meets on the third Thursday of the month at 6:30 p.m. at KC's Dugout Restaurant in Rudyard. Visitors are welcome.
