St. Ignace Councilmen, Mayor Reclaim Seats

Sworn in to their re-elected positions on City Council at a special meeting Monday, November 12, were (from left) Councilmen Willie LaLonde, Paul Fullerton, Mayor Paul Grondin, and Councilman Merv Wyse. The election was held Tuesday, November 6, and included six candidates for three, four-year seats on council. The mayor's term is yearly. Councilman Don Gustafson was re-elected by Council as mayor pro tempore. Winning candidates must be sworn in the Monday following the election, according to the city's charter, said City Manager Eric Dodson.
