Nyes Celebrate 65th Anniversary
The couple was married November 13, 1942, in Detroit. Wedding attendants for Mr. and Mrs. Nye at the ceremony were Gerald Ehle and Edna (nee Nye) Hamel. The couple's four children, with their families, are Jeri and John Griffin, Susan and William Rutledge, Tom and Debbie Nye, and Sally Nye. They have five grandchildren and their families, Brenda and Griffin DeRosha, David and Kristy Griffin, Andy and Kelly Rutledge, Gwyneth Nye, and Gillian Nye. They have four great-grandchildren, Ariane DeRosha, Zachary and Julianne Griffin, and Zoe Rutledge. An open house in honor of Mr. and Mrs. Nye will be hosted Sunday afternoon, November 18. |
