The special meeting of the St. Ignace City Council was held on Monday, November 12, 2007 in the Council Chambers of the Municipal Building.

The meeting was called to order at 8:00 p.m. by Mayor Grondin with the Pledge of Allegiance.

Councilmember Gustafson gave the invocation.

Present: Council- member Della- Moretta, Fullerton, Gustafson, LaLonde, Tamlyn-Massaway, Wyse, Mayor Grondin. Absent: None. Staff Present: Eric Dodson, City Manager, Prentiss M. Brown, Jr., City Attorney; Renee' Vonderwerth, City Clerk; Tim Matelski, Chief of Police.

1. SWEARING IN OF NEWLY ELECTED OFFICIALS:

At this time, City Clerk Vonderwerth gave the oath of office to newly elected Council- members Fullerton, LaLonde, Wyse and newly elected Mayor Grondin 2. ELECTION OF MAYOR PROTEM:

It was moved by Mayor Grondin, seconded by Councilmember LaLonde to appoint Councilmember Gustafson as Mayor Pro-Tem.

Roll Call Vote: Yes: Councilmember Fullerton, Gustafson, LaLonde, Tamlyn-Massaway, Wyse, Mayor Grondin, Councilmember, Della-Moretta. No: None Absent: None. Motion carried unanimously.

Public Comment: At this time, Mayor Grondin explained that due to the fact that Central Michigan University won the football game against Western Michigan University, it was the agreement that he would hold up a sweatshirt from CMU and state the following, "Central Michigan University has the best football team in the universe."

There being no further business, the meeting adjourned at 8:06 p.m.
