Sault Parade Will Take Place Friday

The Sault Ste. Marie Downtown Business Association will host the annual Parade of Lights Friday, November 23, at 7 p.m. The parade will start at Parker's Hardware and go north on Ashmun to Maple, then turn and finish in front of the City/County Building for the lighting of the City Christmas tree. The Kiwanis Club will sell warm cider at the tree lighting.

Saturday, November 24, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday, November 25, from noon to 4 p.m. the Downtown Business Association will host a Christmas Open House. Carolers will sing in downtown stores. Santa Claus will be available at Avery Square for photographs Saturday and Sunday from noon to 4 p.m.
