Church Notes

• Community members can participate in a free community meal Wednesday, November 28, at 4:30 p.m. at the Engadine United Methodist Church in Engadine.

• The story of the Chrismon Tree will be told at the Church of the Straits in Mackinaw City during the 10:30 a.m. service Sunday, December 2. The Community Christmas Cantata "Together for Christmas," directed by Gussie Williams, will be performed Sunday, December 9, at 2 p.m.

• The Drummond Island Lutheran Church on Drummond Island will host the DeTour Community Choir Thursday, December 13, at 7:15 p.m. The choir will also perform at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in DeTour Sunday, December 16, at 2 p.m.

• The Evangelical Free Church of St. Ignace will have its Christmas program Sunday, December 16, at 6 p.m.
