Kristen DeNike and Josh Gould of St. Ignace announce the birth of a son, Jaxson Steven Gould, born Saturday, November 17, 2007, at Northern Michigan Hospital in Petoskey. He weighed 8 pounds, 13 ounces, and measured 20.5 inches in length at birth.

Grandparents are Steven "Mike" and Sheri Gould of St. Ignace, and Jim and Patti DeNike of Okemos. Great-grandparents are Ralph and Therese Oja of St. Ignace, the late Mary Oja, the late John Fogelsonger, the late Francis and Mary Hartwick, and the late Renot and Anna Leppanen.
