CEDARVILLE- At right: Three Daisy Girl Scouts, (from left) Hope Hester, Sienna Reichlin, and Lily Freel, joined the rest of the Les Cheneaux Girl Scouts in singing Christmas carols at the 18th Annual Community Christmas Party in Cedarville Sunday, December 2. Santa and Mrs. Claus were the featured guests at St. Ignace's Home for the Holidays Christmas parade Friday, November 30. MACKINAC ISLAND - Three-year-old Ethan Cotton gets a lift from his father, Steve, as Santa (Ray Card) arrives at the Mackinac Island Fire Hall Saturday, December 1. Fire Chief Dennis Bradley assists Santa, who carries a bag full of toys. Used in an Island tradition of delivering Santa for more than 40 years, the firetruck is one of seven emergency vehicles that serve the Island. Firefighter Jason St. Onge drove the vehicle to Market Street, accompanied by Travis Vartanian.
