Viva Robertson Viva M. Robertson, 95, of Scottsdale, Arizona, passed away Wednesday, November 7, 2007. She was born at Rabbits Back near St. Ignace April 14, 1912, to Charles V. and Lucille E. Grondin. She attended school there and was graduated from Ursuline Academy in St. Ignace. Her first husband, Lawrance L. Laceby, passed away in 1947. She married Rex Robertson of Evergreen Shores, and they lived their entire married life in Casper, Wyoming, where he owned the Rex Robertson Co. of Casper. Mrs. Robertson was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church, and was a volunteer at St. Vincent Thrift Store. She lived the last seven years of her life with her granddaughter, Melissa Laceby, in Scottsdale. Mrs. Robertson is survived by her children and their families, Larry and Andrea Laceby of Owasso, Oklahoma, Donald and Deloris Laceby, Jim and Kathy Robertson, and Mary Ann Weisc, all of Casper, and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two husbands, Lawrance Laceby and Rex Robertson, who died in 1974. Services will be held at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Casper at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, December 11, with Father Kaney officiating. Burial will follow at Highland Cemetery in Casper. |
