'Lights of Love' Candles To Honor, Remember Loved Ones

Brother and sister Tyler, 13, and Erin Barthelemy, 17, display a few of the 200 Lights of Love candles strung in the hallways of the Long Term Care facility at Mackinac Straits Hospital. Each candle, sold for $5, can be dedicated in honor or in memory of a loved one. Proceeds go toward the hospital's auxiliary, which raises funds for hospital supplies. Replacing the traditional lighted Christmas tree, this year's Lights of Love are paper cutouts.
