Dance Team Continues at LaSalle High School

The LaSalle High School dance team has three new volunteer coaches this year. Mary Ribble is head coach, and her oldest daughter, Beth St. Onge, and former LaSalle dancer Sarah Grogan are assistant coaches.

Ten girls will build the team, led by five returning dancers, including senior captains Colleen St. Onge and Erin Patti, senior Melissa Brown, junior Emilee Therrian, and sophomore Stephanie Damron.

First-year dancers are senior Desiree Nordstrand, junior Emily Sposito, sophomore Stacy Goldthorpe, and freshmen Rachel Therrian and Lauren Winkelman.

"This has been a good transition," said Coach Ribble. "The girls have worked hard in preparation for the season."

The dancers' first performance was during halftime of the girls basketball game Wednesday, December 12, and they will perform at girls and boys basketball games during the remainder of the season.
