St. Ignace Girls, Boys Post Wins; Bowlers Prepare for State Tourney

The St. Ignace Saints girls and boys bowling teams posted victories during the final regular season matches at Gateway Lanes in St. Ignace Saturday, February 9.

Saints Down Cheboygan

The Saints defeated Cheboygan in the girls match 728 to 716 and 720 to 711, and split the baker matches.

Saints statistics: Jaimee Bloxsom, single high game of 168, 280 series; Brooke Allan, single game of 162, 319 series; Anna Krause, single game of 155, 305 series; Meghann Colegrove, single game of 150, 285 series; Melissa Brown, single game of 146; Sara Tafelski, single game of 113.

St. Ignace Boys Defeat Alpena

In the boys matches, the Saints lost to Alpena, but won baker scoring to record the overall win.

Saints statistics: Chris Binger, high game of 234, 422 series; Josh Feldman, single game of 199, 341 series; Jamin Corwin, single game of 186, 346 series; Patric Schlehuber, single game of 178, 325 series; Andy Mullins, single game of 127, 230 series.

The Saints will prepare for the regional tournament in Traverse City Friday, February 22, and Saturday, February 23.
