Police Search For $2,600 of Items Stolen From Sugar Island Cabin

The Michigan State Police are investigating a breaking and entering at a cabin on Sugar Island. The burglary occurred Sunday, September 23, at a cabin on East Northshore Drive.
Items stolen were a Hoover Wind Tunnel vacuum cleaner, two maple end tables, a Sony 15-inch television and DVD player combination, an antique coffee grinder, a Direct TV satellite receiver, two king size navy down-filled sleeping bags, a humpback oak trunk, and other miscellaneous items, valued at more than $2,600.
Anyone with information about this crime or the stolen items may call Crime Stoppers at (800) 465- 7867. Callers may remain anonymous and tips leading to an arrest could earn a $1,000 reward.
