Joan Ohls Miller, 87, of the Brian Center of Lincolnton, North Carolina, passed away Wednesday, March 19, 2008.

She was born September 18, 1920, in Mendon to Don and Myrtle Flewelin Ohls.

Mrs. Miller was a retired branch manager in the banking industry. She was a member of Eastern Star.

She is survived by three daughters, Kristine Smith of Lincolnton, Marie Miller of Macon, Georgia, and Elizabeth Denoyer of Cedarville; a sister, Marilyn Lang of Kalamazoo; three grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.

Her services will be held in Michigan at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be sent to Hospice of Lincoln County, 107 North Cedar Street Lincolnton, NC 28092, or Eastern Star, 59087 Pine Grove, MI 49040.

Warlick Funeral Home in Lincolnton assisted the family with arrangements.
