A memorial mass for the late Evelyn O'Neil, a longtime Gilchrest resident, will be celebrated Saturday, May 3, at 11 a.m., at St. Stephens Catholic Church in Naubinway. Father Tim Hruska will officiate.

The Rite of Committal will follow at the Maplewood Cemetery in Rexton.

Mrs. O'Neil died December 30, 2007, at Mackinac Straits Hospital Long Term Care Facility in St. Ignace.

She was born September 19, 1914, in Gilchrest to Ronald and Lillie (nee Turner) Corey. She married Frank O'Neil November 30, 1933, in Engadine, and was a homemaker and a member of St. Stephens Catholic Church.
