Les Cheneaux Community Schools Board of Education unanimously voted to extend the contracts of three administrators, High School Principal Randy Schaedig, Elementary Principal Eric Cardwell, and Business Administrator Kris Hill, at the board's Monday, April 21 meeting. The contracts were all extended by one year, through 2010. Mr. Schaedig and Mr. Cardwell will also continue teaching classes next year. Mr. Cardwell is a sixth grade teacher and Mr. Schaedig teaches a high school science class.

Trustees reviewed Superintendent Rod Goehman's evaluation in closed session at his request, and his contract is awaiting recommendations from the Dual Superintendent Committee. It is likely to be considered at the next board meeting, Monday, May 19, at 7 p.m., pending the committee's meeting and recommendations. Mr. Goehmann is superintendent of the Les Cheneaux and DeTour school districts.
