The St. Ignace Saints golf team opened its 2008 spring season finishing 10th out of 19 teams at the Inland Lakes Invitational Saturday, April 19.

Tyler Mapes, who finished 12th overall, carded an 83 to lead the Saints linksters, followed by Jeff Gamble at 91, Justin Frazier 98, Dane Christiansen 100, and Erik Grondin 116.

To Host Golf Scramble

The St. Ignace Saints football program will host its 12th annual Two-person Golf Scramble at Mackinaw Club in Mackinaw City Saturday, May 10, with a shotgun start at 10 a.m.

The entry fee for the 18-hole tourney is $50 per golfer, including golfing and a cart.
