Michael Gamble Mackinac Island Michael Gamble of Mackinac Island clinched the individual title in a second-hole sudden death duel with DeTour's Zach Melvin after tying at 161 each after 36 rounds of golf at the Eastern Upper Peninsula Conference (EUPC) golf championships held at The Rock on Drummond Island Thursday, May 22. Jessie Duncan and Billie McLeod of Cedarville tied for first among the girls.
Gamble carded 84-77 and Melvin 78-83, for a 36- hole score of 161 each, followed by Nathan Klamerus of DeTour (80-83) 163; Jordan Duncan of Cedarville (80-95) 175; Corie Quinn of Brimley (88-88) 176; Matt Nelson of Cedarville (87-92); Dylan Rye of Pickford (97-84) 181; Taylor Smith of Cedarville (85- 96) 181; Jason Duncan of Cedarville (87-95) 182; Paul Fisher of Mackinac Island (87- 99) 186.
