Les Cheneaux Community Schools will replace an elementary school principal and a high school principal with one principal for both schools. At a special meeting Monday, June 2, trustees said they will take applications through Friday, June 27. The position will begin August 1.

Cedarville High School Principal Randy Schaedig has been hired by the Midland school system and elementary Principal Eric Cardwell will take a principal's position in Alpena. He announced his resignation to the school staff Tuesday, May 27, and his last day at Les Cheneaux was Friday, June 6.
