The Friends of the Les Cheneaux Community will accept donations of used books for an upcoming book sale through Wednesday, June 25, and they can be dropped off at the Les Cheneaux Community Library during open hours Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., Thursday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Magazines will not be accepted for the sale this year.

Donated items will join the many book and movie titles that will be sold at the Friends' annual book sale Tuesday, July 1, Wednesday, July 2, and Thursday, July 3. The sale is a fundraiser for the organization, which provides support and supplemental funding for library programs and special events, and other costs.

The sale will open early July 1 for a one hour pre-sale, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Pre-sale participants can shop early for $5 per person.

Free admission to the sale will be from 11 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday. Thursday the sale will be open from noon to 8 p.m.
