Les Cheneaux Library Offers Summer Fun Series July 15
The Summer Fun Series for Children will be offered at the Les Cheneaux Community Library in Cedarville through July. Four sessions will teach art, craft, and game skills to children ages seven through 10. Classes will be from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
The classes include "For the Birds" Tuesday, July 15, which will allow participants to make bird feeders and nesting bags.
"Wonderful Weaving" will be offered Wednesday, July 16, and will teach participants the art of weaving as they make a bookmark they can take home.
"Old Fashioned Fun" Tuesday, July 22, will offer the opportunity to play old style games.
"Adventures in Origami" Wednesday, July 23, will teach the ancient art of paper folding.
Classes are $10 each, and the non-refundable class fee must be paid upon enrollment.
Classes fill quickly, so organizers encourage children to enroll as early as possible. Registration forms can be picked up at the library and mailed in with payment, or dropped off at a box in the library.
Parents should plan to pick up their children promptly after the class ends. If a parent makes arrangements for someone else to pick up their child, they must write a permission note authorizing that person to pick up the child.
