John and Rebekah Visnaw Rebekah Johnson and John Visnaw of St. Ignace were united in marriage Saturday, June 14, 2008, at 6 p.m. at the St. Ignace Assembly of God Church with Pastor Dan Williams officiating.

The bride was given in marriage by her father, Dan Johnson. Providing music for the ceremony were Pastor Greg Rowan, Cari Rowan, and Hannah Moody.

The bride's sisters, Leah Williams and Melissah Johnson, were the matron of honor and maid of honor, respectively. The flower girl was Lily Williams.

Best man Ray Amacher was accompanied by Jeremy Essad as groomsman.

The bride is the daughter of Dan and Cathy Johnson of Moran. She was home-schooled, and was graduated in 2004. She is employed as a hostess at the Driftwood Restaurant.

The groom is the son of William and Mary Benoit of Alanson. He was graduated from Lakeshore High School in St. Clair Shores in 1992. He is employed as a cook at the Driftwood Restaurant.

The couple resides in St. Ignace.
